This new release features the remixing talents of Lionfire (Aries, DJ Gold and Jinx), K Jah, as well as dubstep mixes from DJ Gold as well as Roommate, a producer hailing all the way from San Francisco with an ambient dubstep -version of the title track "Badness".
On top of all the orginal badness vocal cuts, there is a brand new track by Pablo Rider, voiced over the Lionfire remix of the Badness Riddim, "Haffi Run" which is tore up the place at the launch party.
Expect some select cuts coming on vinyl soon... | | 2011-01-30 14:34:39 | | | Badness Riddim - First Release by the Friendly Fire Band | | Since the 19th November, the "Badness Riddim" has been available on vinyl / CD / Download after launching with a live show at the Hare and Hounds. Badness Riddim is a one drop reggae riddim played entirely live by the Friendly Fire Band, with some of the hottest vocalists in the UK - including Lion Art's title track "Badness" alongside cuts by Murray Man, Jah Marnyah, Peter Spence, Bongo Chilli, Juggla (Overpoof Soundsystem) and many more.
Included on the release are two remixes, a Jungle remix by Lionfire (Aries, Gold and Jinx), and the other by K Jah on a drum and bass tip. These are just a sneak preview of the next release to come - MADNESS - The Badness Remixes.
